Since 2017, the French government has begun dematerializing processes linked to building permits in order to take into account the changes in the construction professions linked to their digitalization. This dematerialization has now reached an important milestone: it is now possible to submit a building permit application using BIM, i.e. structured three-dimensional models containing project information.
